Huckvale Studio – launching soon
Hi, I’m Kate Marston. I’ve been designing for 30 years, specialising in branding, corporate identity and applied colour psychology.
I started KM Design back in 2005 and over the years I’ve worked with a wide range of clients – from start-ups and SMEs to large UK and international companies. I’ve also earned a distinction in the Colour Affects System of Applied Colour Psychology and completed advanced colour studies for interiors at KLC School of Design. In 2015, I was thrilled to win the Business Services category at The Best Business Women Awards.
Between 2014 and 2026, my husband Ben and I built Puddingstone Distillery – the home of Campfire Gin – from the ground up. With the distillery now moving into its next chapter, I’m returning fully to design under a new studio name: Huckvale Studio, based in Tring, Hertfordshire.
At Huckvale Studio, I focus on branding and corporate identity, using applied colour psychology to make sure your brand communicates the right message at a glance – helping it connect with your audience and stand out in a crowded market. Surface pattern design is another passion and my designs will be available for licensing.
Through a trusted network, I can also support additional services like website development, PR, photography and videography.
